Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care for individuals undergoing hematological malignancies, bone marrow transplants, CAR-T therapy, and solid tumor treatments. The role involves administering chemotherapy and managing complex oncology diagnoses within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately within the EPIC charting system.
• Float within the scope of skill set across multiple campuses as needed, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with certification requirements prior to start.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to support their needs and answer questions related to treatment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' recent oncology nursing experience.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Chemo Administration.
• Demonstrate experience with EPIC electronic health records and chemotherapy procedures.
• Be willing to work day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and work at least two of three major holidays.
• Show ability to float within skill set and handle complex oncology cases.
