Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT/MLS) for a high-volume clinical laboratory. The ideal candidate will perform complex laboratory testing with a strong emphasis on Microbiology , accurately analyze specimens, perform differentials, and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment serving a 600+ bed facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Laboratory Technologist experience
• Strong Microbiology experience required
• Experience in a 600+ bed acute care hospital preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Experience using Sysmex and CellaVision systems
• Ability to interpret complex specimens, including abnormal cell findings, platelet clumps, and turbid samples
• ASCP, AMT, or AAB Certification required
• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) only (MLTs will not be considered)
• Prior travel experience preferred
