Demand Planner II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Demand Planner II in Pittsburgh to support supply chain operations within the Customer Channels Group. The role involves analyzing demand trends, managing product lifecycles, and optimizing inventory across a global distribution network while working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support product lifecycle management activities including new item setup, conversions, and discontinuations
- Analyze demand trends and recommend timely planning adjustments based on exceptions and business needs
- Identify risks and collaborate with project teams on new product launch planning
- Maintain system planning parameters including stocking decisions and forecast updates
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and inventory performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Analytics, or related field
- 1+ year experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, or supply chain analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large dataset experience
- ERP or inventory management system experience (Logility preferred)
- Proficiency with data tools such as SQL, SQL Server, or Access
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to travel 5–10% and work in fast-paced environment
