Retail Sales Associate

Scope of PositionThe Retail Sales Associate will provide suggestions, information, and assistance to guests as requested. Responsible for substantial knowledge of products in assigned store as well as general product knowledge regarding merchandise for sale in other retail outlets on property.Position RequirementsProfessional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.Minimum of one (1) year retail experience required, preferably in a hotel, resort or luxury retail environment.Previous cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) experience.ResponsibilitiesStock shelves, counters, tables, and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales.Work with team to ensure operational standards are achieved including merchandise replenishment, visual merchandising, processing shipments and store cleanliness.Maintain knowledge of current monthly sales performance and increase sales per hour and units per transaction as required.Must be able to learn product details and perform sales responsibilities for items offered.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.Any other reasonable duties as required by management.EducationHigh school diploma or GEDSkills and AbilitiesAbility to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.Must be able to work with basic arithmetic functions.Using basic computer hardware and software.Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.Experience using software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Physical RequirementsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.Requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift. #J-18808-Ljbffr Tb-Isle-Resort-Lp
