Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Cambridge, MA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Join a highly respected acute care hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. We are seeking experienced L&D nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients

• Assess, monitor, and document maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols

• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care

• Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and high-risk deliveries

• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR

Assignment Details

• 13-week travel contract

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• No on-call requirement

• No block scheduling available

• Any scrub color permitted

• Clinical interview required prior to offer

• EPIC experience preferred

• Active Massachusetts RN License

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Previous Travel Nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)

• Recent Acute Care Hospital experience required

• Current AHA BLS Certification

• Current AHA ACLS Certification

• Current NRP Certification

• Ability to work every other weekend

• Ability to work every other major holiday

• Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
