Required Experience

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Care of high-acuity pediatric patients
• Respiratory distress
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Trauma patients
• Chronic ventilator patients
• Tracheostomy (trach) care
• Post-operative surgical patients
• Pediatric critical care nursing

Certifications

• Active RN certifications required per specialty and facility requirements
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Pediatric critical care certifications preferred (such as PALS and/or CCRN-Pediatric, if applicable)

Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
