Position: Quality Technician – Experience PreferredLocation: FranklinPay Rate: $26.14 per hourShift Requirement: Must be willing to work either 2nd shift or 3rd shift2nd Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM3rd Shift Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMSchedule Requirement: Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.Summary DescriptionWhile reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for problem solving to ensure the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met. This role includes measuring critical product and process variables, recording and reporting results, and using information to support continuous improvement efforts.What You’ll Be DoingCollect and analyze quality-related data from production or service functions and report findingsMeasure critical dimensions and perform tests such as seals, COF, and gas chromatogramsSupport laboratory functions and production-related quality activitiesFile production trace documents and maintain quality recordsPerform auxiliary production support tasks such as color standard verificationFollow testing methods and standards that improve product quality and consistencyParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives across the facilityActively contribute to plant quality meetings, metrics reviews, and improvement effortsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaPerform duties assigned by supervisor or managerSupport TOPPAN quality and safety policiesAssist other departments as neededWe’d Love to Hear From You IfYou have recent relevant quality experience, preferably in manufacturingorYou have a strong interest in quality and are willing to be trainedYou are reliable, proactive, and quality focusedYou have excellent written and verbal communication skillsYou can work independently and manage multiple prioritiesYou demonstrate initiative and adaptability across departmentsYou have working knowledge of Word, Excel, and OutlookYou can analyze data and identify trendsYou are comfortable using rulers, calipers, and testing equipmentYou work well in a fast-paced team environmentYou have a high school diplomaYou can read and understand manufacturing instructionsYou can stand for long periods of timeYou can meet physical requirements including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, stooping, and reachingBenefitsAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.
