PCA Assistant Farm Manager

A well-known and family-owned Central Valley Farming operation is looking to add a PCA Assistant Farm Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, highly motivated, detail-oriented and ready to take on this dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities supporting daily farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Scout fields for pests, disease, and moisture levels
* Monitor crop health and irrigation needs (Schedule irrigation)
* Coordinate fertilizer applications and chemigation schedules
* Work with mechanics to identify and order necessary parts
* Coordinate spray applications and write spray mix recommendations
* Maintain accurate records of field activities and applications
* Operate and troubleshoot GPS systems and controllers for tractors and chemical equipment

Key Qualifications

* PCA license preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work 5-6 days per week during peak seasons
* Proficient or willing to learn precision agriculture technology
* Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license
