Brookings Health System is a seeking reliable, hard working Cook to join our team to deliver the best possible care!
Compensation range for this position is $17.02 to $25.20, depending on experience.
This position will have full benefits that include, but is not limited to, South Dakota Retirement, Employee discounts on services, gym membership reimbursement (and on-site fitness center), eligible for public service loan forgiveness, cafeteria discounts, life insurance and so much more. The Cook will prepare assigned food items as needed based on standardized recipe to include but not limited to main entrees, vegetables, desserts and salads.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in a full service restaurant, fast food, or institutional setting
- Serv-safe certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire date
- Must be able to read and follow recipes
- Must have a working knowledge of food service equipment
- Must have basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety
