About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Day Hours per Shift: 12.5 (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab procedure experience License: RN License required in New York Certifications: Cath and EP experience - pre/post preferred Must-Have: - Cath lab procedure experience with admission, recovery, and discharge experience of the same population preferred. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The nurse will be responsible for Cath Lab procedures, admissions, recovery, and discharge. Key duties include IV management, medication administration, triage, wound cleaning, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs monitoring, cardiac monitoring, and the use of restraints. Cleaning and other necessary duties will also be part of the role. Candidates must have a New York RN license and a minimum of two years of experience in Cath Lab procedures. Experience in both catheterization and electrophysiology is preferred. Preferred candidates will have experience with patient admission, recovery, and discharge in a cath lab setting.
