Share your resume with us today!Primary Responsibilities Apply analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other engineering tools to develop models, perform structural and dynamic analyses, conduct calculations, reduce test data, and correlate results.Partner closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures that meet demanding requirements for performance, manufacturability, and schedule.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.Possess 17+ years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, 15+ years with a master’s degree, or 13+ years with a doctorate degree.Demonstrated experience with any of the commercial finite element analysis tools (e.g. FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.Capable of working as part of a larger analysis team or working as the sole analyst on a project.U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance—or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville, Alabama area.Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 or higher GPA.Advanced expertise inLinear and nonlinear contact FEAApplication of nonlinear material properties to both FEA and hand calculationsIntegrated multi-physics analysisBolted joint and weld analysisDynamics analysis (modal, response spectrum, shock, vibration)Bolted joint and weld analysisFatigue analysisComposite materials analysisThermal analysisundefinedundefinedIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
