Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Oncology to join the healthcare profession in Seattle, Washington.

Job specification

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, managing side effects and complications.
Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnosis, treatment plans, and supportive care options.
Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing individualized care plans.
Advocate for patient needs and preferences in all aspects of care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, including treatment administration, patient assessments, and clinical notes.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Candidate requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

1 year of experience in oncology nursing is preferred.

Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and emotionally challenging environment.
