Construction Project Safety Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Safety Manager to lead health and safety initiatives on-site. As the Construction Project Safety Manager, you will serve as a vital link between field operations and corporate leadership, ensuring every team member returns home safely. This role requires a proactive leader capable of fostering a culture of accountability and compliance.

responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Lead the implementation of the corporate Safety & Health Program in close coordination with the project Superintendent.

• Site Inspections: Conduct daily visual and formal written jobsite inspections, including JHA reviews and environmental control monitoring.

• Personnel Training: Manage site-specific safety orientations for all new employees and lead weekly safety talks to ensure ongoing compliance.

• Emergency Planning: Develop site-specific emergency plans and coordinate with local fire departments, medical clinics, and emergency services.

• Regulatory Reporting: Complete monthly safety reports covering fire extinguishers, GFCI inspections, trenching, and confined space permits.

The essential functions of this role include:
