New River Veterinary Specialists is expanding and is actively seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join our growing team. As we open our new location in Pooler, GA, we are excited to offer incredible opportunities for the right candidate to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our hospital. Our sister hospital opened in June 2022 in Hardeeville, SC and has grown rapidly thanks to a collaborative, team‑based approach to patient care, as well as a supportive community. With our expansion into Pooler, we are looking for clinicians who enjoy working closely with other specialists and emergency doctors and are eager to contribute to a positive, supportive culture. Equipment and Facility Full in-house laboratory 16-slice helical CT and 1.5‑Tesla MRI Fluoroscopy and interventional radiology suite Multiple ultrasound units In‑house blood bank and component therapy Arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and minimally invasive surgery capabilities Full‑service sports medicine and rehabilitation department Dedicated intensive care unit with long‑term mechanical ventilation Ability to perform interventional urology complete with a Holmium laser Team and Culture 2 Internists 2 Criticalists 2 Surgeons (one boarded in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine) 2 Neurologists Oncology Ophthalmology Dermatology Part‑time Cardiology 12 Emergency doctors (and growing)
