Staff Business Data Scientist, Ads Measurement

Serve as the strategic Financial thought partner to identify business accelerator opportunities, build complex long-range forecasts, align cross-functional commitments and define north star metrics under a unified portfolio allocation across AIM’s portfolio.Collaborate with econometrics and data science teams to design, standardize, and scale advanced causal inference frameworks that quantify the incremental revenue impact of measurement products.Formulate robust financial POVs and ROI valuations for high-value third-party measurement and data partnerships, structuring commercial agreements to maximize strategic utility, protect capital, and mitigate risks.Coordinate critical, cross-portfolio initiatives and synthesize complex technical and financial findings into high-impact, cohesive narratives and strategic recommendations for high-visibility executive reporting forums and executive leadership syncs.Minimum qualifications:Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.Preferred qualifications:9 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.The Ads and Commerce Finance team provides strategic analysis and forecasting of Google’s business-generating products to executive audiences. You will drive cross-functional alignment across AIM, partner surface teams, media effectiveness measurement, and key media channel groups (Search, YouTube, and Display). It should help advertisers measure the effectiveness of their digital ad spend with Google leveraging a full funnel set of metrics from the top of the funnel down to the bottom of performance and conversions. You'll be at the center of driving the holistic Finance strategy for both product suites, strategy sessions, accelerators sizing, setting and tracking north star metrics and have the opportunity to partner with Product Management, Engineering, Product Strategy, Go-To-Market, and other Finance teams to help guide executive decisions.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
