LOCATION: Wamego, Junction City, Kansas PRACTICE MODALITY: Private Practice (1-2 Doctors) SCHEDULE: Part time (3-4 days) COMPENSATION: 78,000-150,000 BENEFITS: • Retirement Plan (401K or SIMPLE IRA) • Health Benefits • PTO • Student Loan Repayment • production bonus option, CE stipend of $1,000 a yr, Pay for KOA/AOA dues yrly. $200 dollar a month stipend/bonus per month to go towards health care SPECIALTIES: • Primary Care • Pediatrics • Speciality Contact Lens • Dry Eyes / Aesthetics • Ocular Disease PRACTICE OVERVIEW & DETAILS: We are a three-location private practice with offices in Junction City, Wamego, and Manhattan. Our Junction City location was recently purchased and remodeled and continues to experience strong growth. We are currently seeking an associate optometrist to add between 2–4 days per week initially, with a clear path to 5 days per week for a candidate interested in long-term growth. There is an immediate need for 1–2 days per week in Junction City, where we currently have a doctor seeing patients 2–3 days per week. In addition, there is an opportunity for at least one day per week in Wamego, with increased capacity anticipated as we move forward. A large renovation project is planned for our Wamego location in 2026–2027, which will allow us to better accommodate multiple doctors per day and support continued expansion. The ideal candidate is hardworking, positive, and enjoys practicing in a private practice setting with a strong, supportive culture. We manage a wide range of pathology, including diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. OCT and Optomap imaging are available in all locations, supporting comprehensive medical eye care. We welcome both experienced optometrists and recent graduates and are happy to provide mentorship and support as needed to ensure a smooth transition into the practice. Our practices are located in the beautiful Flint Hills, with each location within 15–35 minutes of one another, offering an easy and low-stress commute and an excellent quality of life.
