CMM Metrology Quality Assurance Technician

What you’ll do Set up and execute detailed mechanical and visual inspections on parts, components, and assemblies. Operate and interpret results from CMMs, FARO Arm, and Keyence Wide Area CMM. Use micrometers, calipers, height stands, optical comparators, thread/plug gauges, gauge blocks, and plating thickness gauges. Perform final product/assembly checks, first-piece approvals, and incoming vendor inspections to purchase order requirements. Create formal inspection reports aligned with company procedures. Identify non-conformances, notify production/assembly, and follow up on corrective actions. Monitor quality trends and escalate improvement opportunities to management. Recommend enhancements to inspection methods and equipment. Interface with customer and government representatives. Maintain an orderly, safe work area and follow all health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
