Personal Injury Attorney

Location: Texas - Remote | Preference for San Antonio or Houston Practice Area: Personal Injury / Motor Vehicle Accidents Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing legal team focused primarily on motor vehicle accident and personal injury matters . This position may be performed remotely from anywhere in Texas, with a preference for attorneys located in the San Antonio or Houston areas . The ideal candidate will have hands-on litigation experience and be comfortable managing personal injury cases throughout the litigation process. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who can independently manage a caseload while effectively advocating for clients in negotiations, depositions, hearings, and other litigation proceedings. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of motor vehicle accident and personal injury matters from litigation through resolution. Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Conduct and defend depositions, including those of parties, witnesses, experts, and medical providers. Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other court proceedings. Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and identify potential issues affecting case value. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings as needed. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status, strategy, and expectations. Ensure compliance with court deadlines, procedural requirements, and firm standards. Qualifications Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Prior litigation experience required , preferably involving personal injury or motor vehicle accident cases. Experience handling depositions, discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Trial preparation and courtroom experience strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage cases and competing deadlines in a remote environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and client-service orientation. Candidates located in San Antonio or Houston are preferred , although qualified attorneys residing elsewhere in Texas will be considered.
