Overview Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to diverse populations, including children and adolescents. Responsibilities Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs, including those with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders Support therapy sessions with children in various settings such as schools, clinics, or acute care facilities Prepare therapy materials and assist in documenting patient progress accurately and timely Observe and monitor patients during sessions to provide feedback and report any concerns or notable changes to supervising clinicians Help facilitate communication with children who have complex needs by applying techniques aligned with their IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment that adheres to health and safety standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care plans for pediatric patients Qualifications Strong working knowledge of speech therapy techniques and pediatric development milestones Familiarity with physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology Experience working with children in educational or healthcare settings, especially within early intervention or school environments Ability to understand and assist with IEP development and implementation for students with special needs Knowledge of anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, teachers, and healthcare professionals Enthusiastic team player committed to supporting pediatric patients’ progress through compassionate care #J-18808-Ljbffr STEP UP CHILDRENS THERAPY CENTER LL
