Leading the transformation of quality assurance in an AI-driven environment, the full-time remote Director of Quality Assurance Engineering will manage the quality function across the software development lifecycle, focusing on innovative methodologies and team leadership. Key responsibilities Rethink QA methodologies and training to adapt to AI-generated code and scaling quality assurance efforts Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Quality Engineers, overseeing hiring, career development, and fostering an innovative culture Establish AI-driven technical quality architecture and release standards, balancing engineering velocity with production confidence Required qualifications 10+ years of software quality engineering experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role and 2+ years in an AI-accelerated development environment Proven experience in building or transforming quality functions at scale, focusing on organizational design Expertise in evaluating AI-generated tests for correctness and coverage fidelity Experience with mutation testing, risk-based testing, and production observability in quality assurance Familiarity with regulated environments, such as HIPAA, is strongly preferred
