Do you enjoy working with a small group of co-workers in a relaxed environment? QPS is now hiring for our yearly kitchen associate positions. These positions start in August and end in December. They will then restart in January and go through May! The job itself would be working in a college dorm cafeteria doing things such as dishwashing, food prep, cleaning, organizing and more!
Kitchen Helper Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Wash dishes, dry dishes and put them away, and clean dishwasher by following proper procedure.
- Keep glasses and silverware full and refill disposable food trays as needed.
- Assist in kitchen/food prep: refilling food stations, swapping out old food with new food, food prep.
- Wipe tables and bus tables every 15 minutes or sooner if needed.
- Provide customer service to students as needed.
Kitchen Helper Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs. at times. - Work on your feet for a minimum of 4 hr.+ shifts. Bending, twisting, reaching - occasionally. - Must be able to work in a warmer environment (near ovens and dishwashers). - Move and operate in a fast/steady paced work environment. - Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history. Please include details of your work experience on your resume. - Previous food service experience preferred. - Good hygiene is a must. - Must be able to work occasional weekends when needed. - Be flexible with your schedule.
