We advocate the preservation of human dignity in the delivery of our services and programs.ResponsibilitiesManager of Cardiopulmonary Services reports directly to the Hospital's Chief Operating Officer (COO).Main duties will be to lead, plan, organize, implement, and direct, along with problem solving, and interactions with other departments and medical staff for the entire program and service line. This Manager will need to ensure that services provided [Respiratory Care, Cardiology, Ventilator Care] meet external and internal customer needs. Most important will need to develop both operating and capital budgets with input from administration, staff and physicians. Responsible for assuring appropriate management practices, maintenance of appropriate staffing levels, competency assessment, staff orientation, ongoing education and development. Promotes and maintains effective relationships and communication with team members, organizational leadership, and medical staff members. Serves as a role model for the program. Mentors and guides the team.Qualifications2 Years Technical or Associate DegreeGraduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy preferred. Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy preferredBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Related Field preferred Minimum 2-3 years Manager/ Supervisory experience in an acute care settingAt least 2-3 years as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in an acute care setting preferredCurrent RCP license from the State of California Respiratory Care Board BLS, ACLS, PALS, MAB and NRP RRT license preferredIntubation experience or certification preferred Ability to communicate effectively in EnglishBilingual Spanish or Chinese preferredStrong written and verbal skillsEMR experience preferredStrong Computer knowledge required with experience in Excel, Microsoft wordHospital DescriptionSouth El Monte community is a vibrant area in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley.
