Equity Administration Platform Product Manager, VP

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• 10–15 years of overall professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in equity compensation, including hands-on work with a U.S. equity administration platform on the participant and/or administrator side.
• Working knowledge of RSUs, RSAs, options, ESPPs, and PSUs, including vesting schedules, releases, exercises, purchase periods, forfeitures, and dispositions.
• Ability to read data structures, trace transactions end to end, and read or write SQL.
• Strong written communication skills for product specifications, defect reports, and stakeholder updates.
• Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
• Preferred: An engineering or technical background, through a degree or hands-on experience in software engineering, computer science, or information technology.
• Preferred: Experience with platform migrations or client implementations.
• Preferred: Exposure to global or multi-jurisdiction equity administration.
• Preferred: Experience in financial services or fintech.

• Own the roadmap and requirements for assigned product areas, creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation of edge cases.
• Work with engineering on design decisions, trade-offs, and release scope, and take part in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with operations, implementation, client service, and compliance teams to turn equity plan administrators needs into product improvements.
• Triage production issues and drive resolution by reproducing problems, assessing client impact, distinguishing defects from configuration or data issues, and prioritizing fixes.
• Build sufficient understanding of backend processes, including grant and transaction data models, vesting and lifecycle processing, tax withholding, HRIS, payroll and brokerage integrations, batch jobs, and reporting pipelines.
• Support client demonstrations, RFP responses, and release communications.
• Monitor competitor capabilities and incorporate findings into prioritization.
