Shipping Receiving Clerk

Essential Functions Prepare documents such as bills of lading Correspond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so that customer needs dates can be met Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location Receive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliers Ensure products are properly packed and labeled Maintain safe and clean working area Any other task assigned by supervisor or management This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
