Fire Extinguisher Technician
N.O. Service Center - Harvey, LA 70058
Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire extinguishers and related fire safety equipment at customer sites
- Install fire extinguishers and related fire safety equipment
- Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports
- Ensure timely customer billing
Requirements
- Experience in fire extinguisher inspection, maintenance, or related fire protection services is preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Availability between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Must work well with a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Comfortable navigating email; willing to learn inspection software and internal billing systems
- Knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations is an advantage
- Relevant certifications
