Job Overview

Enviroblind LLC is hiring a hands-on Purchasing and Inventory Specialist to purchase materials, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Your work will help keep materials available and prevent shortages and delays. This position combines office responsibilities with active work on the warehouse floor, including physically verifying stock and performing inventory counts.

Direct purchasing experience and practical Excel and math skills are required for this position.

What You’ll Do

• Review orders and inventory levels to identify material needs and prevent shortages.
• Create and track purchase orders, confirm pricing and quantities, and follow up with suppliers.
• Purchase materials from domestic and international vendors.
• Monitor lead times and coordinate incoming freight.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and help improve inventory control procedures.
• Perform physical inventory and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Read product specifications and work accurately with fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders for payment processing.
• Use Excel to track purchasing and inventory information and calculate quantities and costs.
• Maintain related administrative records, including commissions, deposits, and petty cash.

Required Qualifications

• Direct experience creating purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, and tracking deliveries.
• Practical Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting and filtering data, using basic formulas, and checking spreadsheet accuracy.
• Strong math skills, including fractions, decimal equivalents, measurements, and unit pricing.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, or inventory.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly with vendors and coworkers.
• Comfort working both in an office and on the warehouse floor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or a warehouse environment.
• Experience performing inventory counts and reconciling inventory records.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working on the warehouse floor, using a ladder to physically verify inventory, and lifting up to 75 pounds when needed.
