What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you will:

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and person-centered support plan.
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
• Administer medications according to established policies and procedures.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, community activities, and other necessary destinations.
• Support individuals with activities of daily living, including:
  • Meal preparation
  • Personal hygiene
  • Toileting
  • Household tasks
  • Other individualized support needs
• Assist individuals with accessing community resources and supports, including:
  • Medical appointments
  • Social services
  • Recreational opportunities
  • Community-based programs
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and positive social interactions.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to implement support strategies and residential interventions.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and person-centered living environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

QualificationsRequired

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer and internet proficiency, including email, timekeeping systems, and electronic documentation platforms
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to successfully complete all required employment screenings and clearances, including FBI clearance where applicable

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Previous experience working in residential mental health, behavioral health, or human services settings

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Schedule based on program needs
• May include evenings, weekends, holidays, and community-based activities
• Flexibility required to support residential operations and individual needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to safely transport individuals within the community
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
