Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site CNC Machinist role based in Hodges, SC. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision plastic and manifold components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, loading materials, and adjusting machine settings to maintain tight tolerances. The role involves inspecting parts using measuring instruments, documenting quality results, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to resolve production or quality issues. The CNC Machinist will also perform routine machine maintenance, follow safety and 5S/lean practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. Qualifications Proficiency in machine operation and machinery setup, including starting, stopping, and monitoring CNC equipment safely and efficiently. Hands‑on experience in machining and milling, with the ability to work to close tolerances and meet production specifications. Strong quality‑control skills, including part inspection, use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and accurate documentation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Familiarity with CNC controls, basic G‑code understanding, and troubleshooting minor machine or tooling issues. Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and lean manufacturing or continuous‑improvement practices. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or a related field is preferred.
