JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is hiring a User Research Moderator to support a consumer electronic and life science research initiative. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross‐functional teams to execute data collection activities and deliver high‐quality research experiences for participants.
Location: Natick, MASchedule: 8am - 6pm Monday - Saturday
Project Duration: Up to 1 month What You’ll Do
As a User Research Moderator, you’ll play a hands‐on role in day‐to‐day research operations and support study participants. Additional tasks include:
-Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting prototype hardware and technical equipment used for data collection
-Real‐time technical support to participants by troubleshooting prototype devices and clearly guiding users through technical challenges
-Identifying and resolving study execution issues in real time and implementing corrective solutions as needed
-Supporting research teams to ensure participants are well equipped to work with prototypes individually and data is collected accurately
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: B.S./B.A. or M.S./M.A. in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Human Factors, Psychology, or related STEM fields.
Experience: Prior experience with usability studies, or hardware/software troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
consumer product/hardware testing experience preferred
