You'll provide hands-on support, encouragement, and supervision as individuals complete work tasks, participate in skill-building activities, and engage in community outings. Responsibilities:Follow and uphold company policies and proceduresResponsible for completing and staying current in all mandatory trainingsPromote positive social interactionsSupport individuals in the community, in their job, or at their job (enclaves or facility based)Teach skills to expand a person's independence and progress toward goalsMaintain a clean and safe environment, follows all safety protocolsAdminister medications, support individuals with hygiene, and provide supervision in all settingsMaintain a positive relationship and adequate communication with each client's home provide, CSM, parents, guardians, and other support Provide transportation with a company vehicle for work or community accessComplete quality control, track client work totals, plan work schedulesMaintains an advocacy roleMay be assigned to work in other departments or programsAny other duties assigned Skills: Desire to work in a team environment, even when supporting someone individuallyAbility to work independentlyTreat people with kindness, not cruel or harsh, showing compassion (gentle teaching philosophy)A level of integrity that motivates doing the right thing, even when no one is watchingAbility to be flexible and handle change wellA good track record of attendance and an understanding of the importance of consistency for the people we support The ideal candidate for this position is a unique individual who has a desire for helping individuals with disabilities earn a paycheck and develop new skills.
