About the Position

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required. License: Wisconsin License preferred; must obtain prior to start. Certifications: BLS, NBCOT. Must-Have: - Experience with activities of daily living. - Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques including biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. - Familiarity with rehabilitation procedures for hand injuries, hip fractures, and knee replacements. - Ability to work with patients using dynamic and functional splints. Description: This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting. The role includes providing therapy for patients recovering from surgical procedures and injuries. Candidates should possess skills in helping patients with activities of daily living. Experience in using therapeutic modalities such as TENS, ultrasound, and edema massage is necessary. Knowledge of specific rehabilitation techniques for soft tissue and joint injuries is essential. Candidates must be adaptable and capable of providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
