Quanex is looking for a Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift to join our team located in Cannon Falls, MN. What Success Looks Like:

• Be a key driver of the company’s safety culture.
• Assist in developing JHAs (Job Hazard Analysis) and training all teammates.
• Achieves divisional objectives and promotes teamwork by working with other

peers, subordinates, and all levels of management.

• Champions a culture of continuous improvement.
• Executes operational plans to meet departmental and plant goals in Safety,

Quality, On-Time delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency. * Identify, analyze and act to correct bottlenecks, product defect rates, safety hazards and maintenance problems. * Counsel, motivate and instruct departmental personnel in machine operation and address concerns and morale through daily interaction. * Proactively present ideas and information concisely and clearly in both oral and written form. * Work effectively with peers and all levels of management to achieve divisional objectives and promote teamwork. * Administer company policy fairly and consistently. Discipline employees when required as per company policy. Resolve employee conflicts fairly as they arise and make appropriate recommendations for hiring, termination, advancement and demotion of supervised employees.

• Maintain documentation to support all department activities.

• Familiarity with OSHA standards

Your Credentials:

• 5-7 years of manufacturing and at least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Salary Range: $69K to $80K commensurate with experience and with potential to earn an annual bonus.
