Financial Advisor — Established Book Required ($40M+ AUM)

This opportunity is intended for established Financial Advisors only. To be considered, you must have: (1) a minimum of $40 million in current, transferable client assets under management, (2) a clean U4 with no disclosures or compliance issues, and (3) demonstrated ability to retain and grow client relationships. Candidates without a transferable book of this size will not be considered.

OVERVIEW

Your role as a Financial Advisor is central to Procyon's growth. As a trusted expert and the face of the firm to your clients, you will drive new business, close new relationships, and deliver comprehensive, planning-led wealth management that produces exceptional outcomes. This role blends deep technical mastery across investments, planning, tax, and risk with the interpersonal skill to build trust, articulate value, and win. You will leverage Procyon's full platform—dedicated service, planning, investment, and specialist teams—to scale your practice while delivering a white-glove experience at every touchpoint. The ideal candidate is an accomplished, entrepreneurial advisor who is a genuine expert in the field, thrives on business development, and takes ownership of both client relationships and their own growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum $40 million in current, transferable client assets under management (AUM) required. This posting is for an established advisor with an existing, portable book of business — not a developing or early-career advisor.
  • Clean U4 required — no disclosures, customer complaints, or regulatory/compliance actions of any kind.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a financial advisor, with a demonstrated track record of business development and closing new client relationships.
  • Series 65, or ability to obtain within 3 months of start date.
  • CFP, JD, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred; a genuine expert in financial planning, investments, and wealth strategy.
  • Proven ability to source, cultivate, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply and persuasively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High personal character and integrity, with a clean compliance record.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a genuine desire to grow your practice.

Optional: While not a requirement, familiarity with our tech stack is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be working under the direct supervision of Procyon’s Chief Revenue Officer, Harry Kirkpatrick. The Financial Advisor will lead in the following ways:

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Drive the firm's growth by sourcing, cultivating, and closing new client relationships
  • Build and execute a personal business development plan, leveraging referrals, and Procyon's marketing and PR efforts.
  • Develop Center’s of Influence through networking and events
  • Deliver compelling, expertise-driven presentations clients closing leads and referrals

Advisory Expertise & Client Relationships

  • Serve as the trusted lead advisor and subject-matter expert for your clients, delivering planning-led advice across investments, retirement, estate, tax, and risk.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding each client's goals proactivley
  • Answer client questions with superior service front of mind, always, and coordinate meetings, deliverables, and follow-up.

Financial Planning & Wealth Strategy

  • Partner with the Financial Planning team to develop and present high-integrity financial plans
  • Identify gaps in clients'/prospects' plans to generate new business & deepen relationships
  • Provide strategic investment, retirement, estate, tax, and insurance guidance

Collaboration & Firm Resources

  • Leverage Procyon's full platform—Client Service Associates, Investment Analysts, firm-managed portfolios, and the Tax, Benefits, Risk, and Trust divisions—to scale your practice.
  • Adhere to the firm's standardized client service and maintain a clean compliance record
  • Collaborate across teams, sharing insights and contributing to a high-performing culture.
