Estimation Engineer

Estimating Engineer – Industrial Construction Estimating Engineer opportunity supporting industrial construction projects with a growing and well-established construction team. This role will work closely with preconstruction and operations teams to assist with budgeting, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and bid preparation across a variety of industrial projects. Projects may include manufacturing facilities, processing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, tilt wall facilities, PEMB structures, and other large-scale industrial construction work. Responsibilities Assist with budgeting, estimating, and preconstruction efforts for industrial construction projects Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to support accurate project estimates Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis for assigned trades and project components Solicit subcontractors and suppliers, distribute bid information, and help coordinate bid coverage Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations to support competitive and accurate pricing Work closely with preconstruction and operations teams throughout the estimating process Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers Support bid leveling, scope reviews, and proposal development effortsAssist with maintaining subcontractor and vendor databases Help identify project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities during preconstruction Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Proven interest in industrial construction and estimating Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, or similar construction software Internship or prior estimating/preconstruction experience with a general contractor preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment Bonus opportunity Full benefits package PTO and paid holidays Continued training and professional development opportunities Long-term growth opportunities within preconstruction and estimating operations #J-18808-Ljbffr Scott Humphrey Corporation
