Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 13:00 - 01:00

Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring effective treatment and continuity of care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with the healthcare team to manage acute healthcare situations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency nursing role.
• Experience in trauma and pediatric care is preferred.
