Location Skyline at First Hill, 725 9th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104 Position Overview Activities Coordinator Pay $23 - $25 per hour DOE Benefits Competitive pay, excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision care, retirement for full-time team members, generous paid time off for full-time and part-time team members. Responsibilities Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting lifestyle programs providing physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities for residents. Attend all community planned functions and coordinate events from beginning to end, including set up, facilitation and breakdown. Help plan appropriate programs for holidays and special events. Implement the calendar of events as scheduled by the Director/Coordinator. Help distribute community newsletter. Provide ongoing communication with residents and, as necessary, family members. Assist Manager in leadership of wellness program. Interact with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality. Protect the privacy of residents when communicating oral and written information. Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written in English). Ability to work with staff and external constituents. First Aid and/or CPR training may be required in certain state/local jurisdictions. Completion of a background screen. Additional screening such as drug screen, physical, fingerprint, and/or TB test may be required per state/local guidelines.
