Distribution Warehouse Manager

Warehouse ManagerNassau Candy is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of candy, specialty confections, fine foods, and promotional products. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our distribution team in our Livonia, Michigan location.The ideal person for this key management role will have proven supervisory and leadership skills and will be responsible for overseeing warehouse associates.The Warehouse Manager will exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and will manage inbound and outbound processes including:Daily workflow and assignments of the warehouse to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of all freight.Order packing, paper picks, and skid preparation.Timely and accurate inventory control.Requirements:Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a Distribution Center with knowledge of distribution operations, material planning systems, and inventory control.Experience supervising warehouse associates in a deadline-driven environmentAble to read and comprehend shipping instructions and routing guidesComputer literacy is necessary (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS, ERP systems).Ability and desire to provide leadership, training, and development for direct reports.Self-starter and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environmentBilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.Why Join Nassau Candy?Paid Vacation, PTOMedical, Dental, Vision, AFLAC, and Pet Insurance!Yearly reviews, 401(k)Employee DiscountsEntrepreneurial, thriving company…and more!Must be able to work a full shift plus OT as needed and be able to lift 50+ lbs.Excellent opportunity to join a well-established national company!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
