Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years recent experience in Operating Room License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Level 1 experience desired, plus recent experience in OR and BLS. Staff will be expected to work in a variety of specialty areas. Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS experience required. Local travelers within specified radiuses are not accepted. Description: Level 1 experience and 3 years recent experience in Operating Room are desired. Candidates will be expected to work in a variety of specialty areas. The following specialty areas are required: Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS. Call policy includes a response time of 40 minutes. There is a rotating list for choosing call. The schedule will include 2-3 calls during the first 6-week period. There will be a weekend call in the following 6-week period. Compliance requirements include BLS and competency exams. Modules are required and will vary by specialty. Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals. Previous employment eligibility checks will be conducted.
