We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will work primarily with elementary-aged students, providing evaluation, intervention, and support services for a variety of speech and language needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full potential.

Position Details

Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Duration: 2026-2027 School Year
Schedule: Full-Time Hours
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Setting: School-Based
Student Population: Primarily Elementary Students
Services: Evaluations, direct therapy, consultation, and IEP support
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay of $44 - $48 per hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
• Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Provide recommendations and strategies to support communication development in the classroom

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Maryland Department of Education certification or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) if required by the district
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
