Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in the Tobyhanna, PA area. We have 2nd shift available! These positions offer a starting pay rate of $17.00/hr - with weekly pay.

Schedules:

Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs.

• Tuesday - Thursday 15:00 - 23:00

Requirements:

• Current NJ SORA License.

• High school diploma or equivalent required ; additional security or leadership training a plus.

• Good communication skills.

• Reliable transportation.

• Experience in customer service, security, or related field.

• Must be able to assist with logging in and out of the required system by using the tablet.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed.

• Have teamwork experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.

• Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.

• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders/SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

NJ SORA License
