Job Description Please note: For this role, we are looking for availability from 6:30 AM both during the week and on weekends. The ideal logistics processor is independent, motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences every day. A day in a Life… Shifts start as early as 3am Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality, packing and shipping standards Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms Provide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixtures You own this if you have… A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative Had success working in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks Organizational skills and attention to detail The skills to use of a variety of technology and new computer applications The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs ‘Standard’ Physical Requirements – Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only] Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $17.90 - $18.60 Hourly At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
