Housekeeper Part time 7am-3pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper (Afternoon Shift) to join our team at Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Cranford, New Jersey. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our patients' rooms, while also contributing to the overall quality of care and customer service we provide.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of quality and safety
Perform tasks such as laundry, bed making, and trash disposal in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure that all areas are clean and tidy
Work closely with our nursing and support staff to ensure that patient needs are met and exceeded
Participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move around the facility with ease
