Team Lead, Shipping & Receving - 1st Shift

Taylor Corporation is a growing, dynamic company in the print and communications industry. We are recruiting a Team Lead (Shipping & Receiving) to manage warehouse operations. Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Shift Schedule Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime as required, including some weekends. Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations for a small team. Support shipping, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distribution of materials and merchandise. Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material handling equipment. Coordinate movement of supplies, products, and materials between departments and workstations. Pull, count, weigh, identify, and verify materials to ensure proper storage, tagging, and order accuracy. Check incoming and outgoing materials against invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and related documents. Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and shipped, including discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory activity. Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as needed. Operate warehouse equipment used for moving, labeling, weighing, sealing, and packaging materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications Ability to safely operate a forklift. Proficiency with a computer operating system to track inventory. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong attention to detail. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle up to 50 pounds. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Experience managing a small team in a warehouse environment. Requirements Within This Position Communicate and exchange accurate information. Remain in a stationary position as required. Move throughout the facility as needed. Operate material handling equipment and handle products. Lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience in a lead role. Compensation The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00, with final base pay dependent on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
