Augusta offers a welcoming capital-city atmosphere with convenient amenities and easy access to Maine’s natural beauty.Job Details\n \n Location: Augusta, ME 04330\n Setting: Home Health / Homecare\n Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts\n Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM\n Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830-$1,930\n Productivity Expectation: 30 units per week\n Travel Requirement: Up to 75 miles from the assigned care center\n Weekly Meetings: Periodic office meetings required\n Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed\n Dress Code: Scrubs\n Job Requirements\n \n Active Registered Nurse license in hand\n Minimum 1 year of Adult Home Health experience or 1 year of Hospice experience, depending on specialty\n Recent experience in the specialty required; first-time travelers are not accepted\n Current CPR/BLS certification\n Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) within the last 6 months, or willingness to complete retraining if needed\n For RNs, proficiency in OASIS within the last 6 months, or willingness to complete retraining if needed\n Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance\n Comfortable driving to patient homes daily and traveling between visits\n Ability to work rotating weekend coverage and on-call as assigned\n Strong time management, organization, and clinical documentation skills\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes based on physician orders and agency policies\n Coordinate and direct home health services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary clinical team\n Complete assessments, start-of-care visits, wound care, follow-up visits, and other home health services as needed\n Supervise and evaluate home health aides and LPN/LVNs when applicable\n Maintain accurate and timely OASIS and clinical documentation within 24 hours of each patient visit\n Manage a daily caseload of approximately 5-8 patients and meet weekly productivity expectations\n Travel throughout the assigned territory and remain flexible to accept scheduled patient visits\n Participate in periodic office meetings and required rotations\n Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting safe outcomes in the home setting\n \n Apply now to join a rewarding Maine home health nursing team in Augusta and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day.
