Role Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Kansas City, MO, with opportunities for some work from home. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting functional behavior assessments, developing and updating ABA treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of behavior intervention strategies. The BCBA will provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians, collect and analyze data, and adjust programming based on progress and best practices. The role involves collaborating with families and caregivers through regular training and parent education sessions, documenting services in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, and participating in team meetings and professional development activities. Some travel within the local area may be required for in‑home and community‑based sessions. Qualifications Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with the ability to design and monitor evidence‑based interventions. Skills in Parent Education and Psychology to effectively coach caregivers and understand behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Competence in Behavior Management, including developing proactive strategies, crisis prevention, and behavior support plans. Current BCBA certification and compliance with BACB ethical standards. Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Experience providing in‑home or community‑based ABA services, preferably with neurodivergent or developmentally diverse populations. Strong data collection, analysis, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance. Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and diverse families.
