Senior Accountant – Empire Workforce Solutions, a national staffing firm, seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ontario, CA.

 

As a Senior Accountant, you will earn $85,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on your experience. Plus, you will enjoy a competitive benefits package that includes:

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing payroll tax filings and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, you will support various accounting functions, including:

• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions and processing.
• Preparing monthly journal entries and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Reviewing and analyzing the general ledger for accuracy
• Assisting with cash receipts postings and reconciliations
• Supporting monthly close processes
• Managing intercompany accounts, transactions, and reconciliations

 

To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a senior accountant. We also require you to have:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, accounting software, ERP systems, and other computer applications.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
