  • Establish and maintain a strong therapeutic rapport with patients through active listening and empathy.

  • Conduct routine assessments to monitor patient developments while providing support and encouragement.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care, including referrals to specialists as necessary.

  • Document all sessions and treatment plans accurately to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at El Paso Behavioral Center, you will work primarily with individuals facing various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will also provide support to families navigating family dynamics and conflicts. Your ability to address the unique needs of diverse populations will play a significant role in fostering psychological resilience and healing within the community.

Qualifications\n

  • Valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
  • \n
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices pertaining to addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and creating a welcoming therapeutic environment.

  • Proficient in using telehealth platforms and other digital tools for therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably focusing on family and marriage counseling.

  • Training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), or other relevant therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
