Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes 3 shifts per week with weekend requirements every other weekend
• Holiday requirement for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day
• Call shifts required: 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week schedule with 30-minute response time
• Possible varied days/nights assignment
• Required certifications: Advanced Fetal Monitoring and BLS Certification
• Must have Basic Fetal Monitoring knowledge and AWHONN guidelines experience
• Experience required in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Must be able to titrate drips including Oxytocin, Insulin, and Epidural
• Ability to circulate and recover Cesarean sections preferred
• Charge nurse and house supervisor duties included
• Work with OB techs and monitor techs
• RNs read strips on OB unit
• Use GE Centricity EFM system and EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided in-house
• Unit/department specific orientation provided
• No floating requirements
• Must include copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
• 100-mile radius rule applies
• 2 shift cancellation policy per 13-week contract

Facility:

This acute care healthcare facility features a comprehensive labor and delivery unit with 12 L&D beds, 1 OR suite, 1 triage bed, and 4 postpartum beds. The facility handles 80-100 births annually and follows AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios. The unit provides care for patients with common diagnoses including gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia. The facility is equipped with telemetry capabilities, respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators, and utilizes modern technology systems for patient monitoring and documentation.
