Foreign Auto & Truck Supply, Inc is a small business in Anchorage, AK.Our work environment includes:On-the-job trainingLively atmosphereForeign Auto & Truck SupplyThe Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of automotive parts and supplies to customers throughout the service area. This position serves as a key representative of FATS Auto Parts by providing excellent customer service, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.ResponsibilitiesDeliver automotive parts, supplies, and products to commercial and retail customers in a safe and timely manner.Verify delivery orders for accuracy prior to departure.Load, unload, and secure merchandise to prevent damage during transport.Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records.Operate company vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.Assist customers with questions regarding deliveries and order status.Pick up returns, cores, and warranty parts as required.Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and inventory management when not making deliveries.Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles.Support store operations and assist team members as needed.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.QUALIFICATIONSValid Alaska Driver's License with a clean driving record.Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Strong customer service and communication skills.Dependable attendance and punctuality.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous delivery driving experience.Automotive parts knowledge or experience in the automotive industry.Familiarity with Anchorage and surrounding communities.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESEmbraces the mission of F.A.T.S.
