Base pay range: $255,900.00/yr - $266,200.00/yr About the Position NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx is seeking a Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Health team at a 213-bed community hospital known for its outstanding services in Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Specialty Ambulatory services. The department includes 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team. Responsibilities The attending will provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, crisis intervention, and care management for geriatric inpatients, working with a multidisciplinary team. Manage a 23-bed acute Geriatric/Adult inpatient unit, participating in a multidisciplinary treatment team. Supervise Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric Physician Assistants, and Medical Students. Engage in clinical care, documentation, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and supervise and train students. Participate in integrative care activities.
